City hall
Can-ID generates a unique genetic identification that reduces the problem of canine excrement in public places, unequivocally identifying excrement found on the street. In addition, it allows updating the municipal pet census and obtaining a “composite picture” if that the animal is not previously entered into the municipal database.
CAN-ID
The expert in canine identification
Can-ID includes additional information (coat color, body size, skull shape…) that allows us to obtain a “composite picture” of the dog.
Can-ID applications are:
- Genetic identification and paternity tests
- Monitoring of wild wolf populations from
non-invasive samples (faeces, hair and urine) - Identification of uncivil owners who do not collect the
excrement from the public places
